E-commerce coupon websites

My VIP Rewards/Niftiee – Large project which dealt with rebranding, e-commerce, database and API management.
Niftiee was another website/business that was to replace the My VIP Rewards site. The original goal was to improve My VIP Rewards. From cleaning up the database (Backend) to the plugin management of the frontend to the point where it was working for us and its users. The site had many problems when I was given the task, with too many plugins and had too many developers inputs to the point the website could not function. My task included organising the database which included troubleshooting customer issues, solving issues/errors, adding people to the database and overall database management, as well as changing the design of a few of the website’s pages.

My company invested into My VIP Rewards’s API and decided to rebrand the whole of My VIP Rewards to Niftiee, replacing the My VIP Rewards with a completely new website (Niftiee) starting from scratch with a database which works. I created that website using cPanel, Excel, SendInBlue, Cost Calculator, WordPress, Elementor, HTML, HTML5, CSS and Photoshop.

Infinty.niftiee – subdomain e-commerce site
Infinity Rewards is another coupon company which focuses on business/employee benefits. It partners with My VIP Rewards which in turn became partners with Niftiee. The first management of their site was to create an iframe of the API for Infinity Rewards on a subdomain called ‘infinity.niftiee’. It was the first time I had ever used an iframe. This was simple to understand but iframes themselves are limiting and are bad practice for SEO’s as they are untraceable. In this project I also had to design and produce a html structured email, which linked to the API’s registration. For Infinity.niftiee I used the following; Excel, HTML, HTML5, cPanel and SendInBlue. Infinity has now been pointed to the API and is no longer using the iFrame.
